Zachary Mullis - Pastor

Zach is from upstate South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!) and became a believer in Jesus at seven years old in his grandparents' living room. He studied business at North Greenville University, and in his final year, the Lord began leading him toward ministry in the local church. Since that time, God has developed within him passions for the church and the Bible. During his time at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, he married Emillie (a Bentley, Louisiana native), and they have since graduated and had two children, Eliza and Annie Jane. He has served as a worship leader, youth pastor, and small group leader in various churches from college until now.

Zach and Emillie both enjoy really good coffee and delicious food. Any working out they do is purely for the purpose of eating more delicious food. Zach enjoys music, gardening, golf, ultimate frisbee, and reading.

Kevin Williams - Worship Pastor

Kevin has lived in the Central Louisiana area for most of his life and has been involved in leading congregational worship for over 20 years for several churches. He has been married to his wife Roni for over 10 years and they have 3 girls (Annabelle, Evangeline, and Madelyn). He received his Bachelors in Church Music from Louisiana College and his Masters in Worship Studies from the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies. He was previously the worship pastor at The Gathering Place from 2009-2014. The Lord called them to south Louisiana for a season before bringing them back to TGP in late 2016.

Kevin has a heart to see people’s hearts changed and formed through corporate worship. According to him, every week is a great time for the church’s heart to be re-calibrated to the wonder of the Gospel. As the church re-tells and recounts the story of God in Jesus Christ, every participant has the opportunity to preach the Gospel to themselves and to those around them. He embraces both the historic Christian worship practices of the church and the ways that the Spirit is moving and speaking today.

Kevin enjoys drinking coffee by the gallon, reading nerdy books, listening to nerdy podcasts (and occasionally recording his own), and spending time with his family.

Bonnie Branim - Children's Minister

Bonnie Branim is the children's minister at TGP. Her desire is to do everything she can to help parents lead their children to know God. Bonnie has dedicated her life to providing education and tools to parents so that from the very start, they are able to disciple their children “teaching them in the way they should go.”

Bonnie is married to the love of her life, Mike, and has enjoyed his company since she was 18 years old. She has three adult children, and she will tell you the best thing about life is having grandchildren.

You will often see her wearing orange to serve as a reminder that together the family (red) and the church (yellow) are both vital in discipling our children.

Alex Robertson - Minister of Students

Alex helps to oversee and give direction to the Student Ministry at TGP Wardville.  Alex has been married to his wife, LaiKyn, since 2016.  He studied Christian Studies and Christian Education at Louisiana College. In addition to serving TGP Wardville, Alex is a Outside Salesman at Impact Advertising.  He also enjoys being outdoors, working with his hands, and spending time with friends. Alex’s passion in life and ministry is best reflected in Romans 1:16-17, which says, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.  For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.” He longs for people to see and rest in God’s glory though his actions and teachings to students.
